Industry development grants

This program is aimed at developing the professional skills and networks of Tasmanian screen practitioners.

Under the Guidelines, it supports experienced practitioners to attend intrastate, interstate and international markets and events, and provides funding for inbound training events and business travel that has significant professional development opportunities.

Please read the Industry Development Guidelines before applying.

Screen Tasmania will not fund private events, or non-screen related events.

Eligibility

You must meet the eligibility criteria detailed in the General Guidelines. You can only apply for travel grants if you are a Tasmanian resident.

Screen Tasmania also organises and hosts events using this program to address skills gaps and other needs identified. Such events may also include matched-funding professional development initiatives with training or broadcast partners.

Provides funding for attendance at interstate industry short courses.

Business Travel - interstate or international

Provides contribution of up to 50% for travel associated with an invitation to a reputable film festival or marketplace attendance with confirmed projects.
