Games Development
This funding program is for the development of both narrative and non-narrative screen projects for all digital platforms.
It is designed to encourage Tasmanians to develop, adopt and exploit new and emerging business models for the creation of compelling screen content.
The program will enable applicants to either release a finished product or attract further development and/or production investment from the marketplace. It encourages applicants to demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach by exploring new and emerging business models and potential revenue streams.

- Project Development Plan
- Finance Plan and Budget for this stage of funding
- (Optional) Proof of Concept or playable demo
- (Optional) Examples of concept art, narrative, Game Design Document (GDD)
- (Production and Release only) Marketing and Audience Engagement plan or; Publisher agreement
Screen Tasmania cannot fund:
- the purchase of equipment or software
- projects that solely re-format traditional media content, or
- interactive screen projects which solely provide:
- utilities or services
- education, or
- information.
