Fast Track Your Career with Gold Pass: Producer’s Attachment Opportunity
Screen Tasmania, in association with Screen Australia and Matchbox Pictures, is delighted to announce the first silverScreen Gold Pass attachment opportunity.
This position is to work with renowned producer/writer/script editor/director, Tony Ayres as a producer’s attachment on Matchbox Pictures’ new 13 part children’s drama series for ABC Television, The Lost Boys. Tony’s recent credits include: The Straits (EP) and The Slap (producer and director). He won the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts (AACTA) award for Best Tele-series earlier this year forThe Slap and the AFI Awards for Best Direction and Best Screenplay in 2007 for The Home Song Stories.
As a producer’s attachment, you will gain experience working in the story room during the development stage and the production office during the production stage.
The attachment position will be based in Melbourne for nine weeks in two blocks: pre-production from approximately Monday, 19 November 2012 to Friday, 21 December 2012, and production from Monday, 14 January 2013 to Friday, 8 February 2013.

Screen Tasmania will assess applications for compliance with the Guidelines and then forward all applications and documentation to Matchbox Pictures. The final choice for the placement will be made by Tony Ayres and Matchbox Pictures.
