Screen Tasmania

Travel to industry conferences and events

This Stream provides funding under the Industry Development Guidelines for attendance at established Australian screen industry conferences, events, workshops and matched funding initiatives when we open applications for support.

Screen Tasmania will advertise a set amount of funding for a set number of places at supported conferences and events. Screen Tasmania may also negotiate a discounted conference rate for those supported places.

Funding is offered to eligible applicants based on approximately 50 per cent of early bird fees, airfares, accommodation and food (Screen Tasmania per diem estimate).

    • have more than two confirmed marketplace meetings which are expected to result in investment in, or sales of, projects or services.

Applicants in receipt of Project Development funding which includes travel costs, cannot apply for business travel support for the same trip. The project, however, may be included in subsequent business travel applications.
