Screen Tasmania is offering five supported places at the Melbourne International Games Week from 23 to 28 October 2018.
Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) is Australia’s premier game development conference. Held every year during October, the conference spans two days and features a range of talks by industry luminaries. GCAP strives to deliver thought provoking, creative and innovative sessions covering topics ranging from programming, art and design, to business management.
Together, GCAP and PAX, the trade show for games, form Melbourne International Games Week.
Tasmania game developers who are actively working on appropriate projects can apply for up to $1 200 in support.
We have increased the number of places from three in 2017 to five this year, as we recognise that there are more Tasmanian game developers who are reaching the stage where they need market intelligence or to market their projects.
Screen Tasmania contracts with successful applicants. Booking tickets, travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the applicants. Receipts proving attendance and a travel report are required as acquittal of the support.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday, 5 August 2018.
