Producer's Attachment on a Feature Film

Steve Jaggi producers attachment

Screen Tasmania is proud to launch our first attachment under the Emergence program.

Innovative feature film production company the Steve Jaggi Company, producers of Rip Tide, is offering a seven week producer's attachment, made up of a six week block - two weeks pre-production, four weeks of shooting - and then one final week later in the year during final post-production to experience audience test screenings, as well as how to handle studio and distributor notes.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to understand the business of producing commercial films in the Australian marketplace that connect with audiences and can be released in mainstream cinemas. The attachment would be to the producer himself.

The film is titled Back of the Net and is a soccer themed family film aimed principally aimed at young girls.

Shooting will take place in the Illawarra area of southern NSW beginning sometime in March with the attachment starting in mid to late February 2018.

This is an interstate attachment in two blocks, so in addition to the published Screen Tasmania support, there will be a double allocation for airfares and seven weeks of accommodation support.
