ARCTIC BLAST

Screen Tasmania's first feature film, Arctic Blast is an Australian/Canadian co-production with investment from Screen Tasmania.

Set in Hobart, Arctic Blast tells the story of a mega ice fog caused by a rift in the Ozone layer that creates deadly flash freezing.  Starring Michael Shanks, lead actor in the hit US Sci-fi series Stargate - SG1, as Jack, a maverick US meteorologist who along with his small team of researchers are the only people that can save the world from destruction. 

Arctic Blast will be released in cinemas nationally and distributed internationally by US company Imagination Worldwide.

Goodwood Studio is currently utilised by the ABC for the production of Collectors, a weekly half-hour programme that looks at peoples' collecting habits and obsessions and offers practical hints on what's hot in the world of collecting, how to care for and display a collection and the pitfalls of collecting.
