The Nightingale, a feature film by Causeway Films is seeking Expression of Interest for attachment places on the production team in the following two Departments:

Assistant Director Attachment

Commencing Friday 24th March - for a period of 8 weeks

This attachment will assist both the 1st AD and 2nd on set and learn through hands on experience coordinating cast, crew, radios, locations and more.

Sound Attachment

Commencing Friday 24th March - for a period of 4 weeks.

This attachment will work as part of the sound department - checking and operating equipment, microphoning cast members, and learning the process of onset sound recording.

Expressions of Interest open 8am Thursday 2nd March and close 5:30 pm Thursday 16 March 2017

Attachment places are training positions but also must contribute to the production. Successful attachees will receive $800 per 5 day week plus fringes including superannuation from the production company and an attachment credit on the film. They will also need to formally negotiate a Learning Contract with the relevant Head of Department, outlining their learning experiences and where they will contribute to the production.

The Expression of Interest form is available through Screen Tasmania's online application system, Smarty Grants.
